Opera Coast Browser - Download Exclusively For Your iPad Now

Opera understands that browsing on your iPad has never been a smooth sailing experience for anyone. So to make sure that the iPad gets the browser ‘it deserves’ it has come out with Coast. The browser gives priority to your contents by making sure that the webpage fills the entire screen. Next it has removed all the clutter caused by the buttons by including only two buttons, one for going to the homepage and the other for checking your history. The start page gives you the option of listing up to nine of your favourite sites as icons and customised search bar sits on top of these icons. The Coast browser uses swipe gestures to go back and forth. #-Link-Snipped-# has noted that Opera have taken a few hints from WebOS and designed the browsing history panel. The visited sites are listed as panes and if can be opened by tapping. If you wish to delete some of your visited sites, you have to swipe the icons upward. Now keen geeks would have noted that the “swiping upwards to delete” is also going to be a part of the next Windows Phone 8 update and the upcoming iOS 7 where this gesture is used to close the apps running in the background.

To keep the users secure Opera has also included the same security engine that it uses in its desktop versions to display warnings regarding harmful websites. The user will be also given the option to check security and reputation of any site by going to the history and swiping from the bottom to reveal the information. The Coast browser is now up on the iTunes App Store from where it can be downloaded for free.

At a time, when Opera leads the mobile browser sector, which other browser do you think can give Opera a run for its money? Let us know in the comments section below.

Opera certainly the best in class in terms of mobile browser. I like to surf a lot with it.In terms of speed, Opera has a extended lead over others but Opera has to improve flash support in order to outbeat UCbrowser.I bet UC isthe only potent mobile browser to give competition to opera.
