On Intex Aqua Twist The Rotating Camera Serves As Both Back And Front Camera

After launching the not-so-exciting Intex Cloud Breeze: Android KitKat, 3G Connectivity, SnapDeal Exclusive At Rs. 3,999, the Indian smartphone manufacturer has launched another smartphone that aims at wowing the audience. On the occasion of Shivratri, Intex has come up with the Intex Aqua Twist, a smartphone with a rotating 5MP camera sensor that serves as both the front and rear camera. While it’s not the complete automated 360 as the Oppo N3 but instead of serving a below average front camera it’s a good to use the rear primary camera as the front one. This also helps the smartphone manufacturer as it does not have spend extra money on another sensor on the front. The Intex Aqua Twist will be sold at Rs. 5199 in white and black colour variants.

Just like every other smartphone in this category the Intex Aqua Twist sports a 5-inch display but with a lower FWVGA (480 x 854) resolution. The #-Link-Snipped-# on the Intex website specifies that the display is protected but does not specify exactly which brand of glass protection has been used. Underneath the hood we find a Mediatek MT6580M SoC that has been previously used in #-Link-Snipped-#, #-Link-Snipped-# and the #-Link-Snipped-#. The chipset houses a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 CPU, Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The internal memory as expected remains at 8GB and you can use microSD cards of up to 32GB to expand that storage.

The Intex Aqua Twist runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) is powered by a 2200mAh Lithium-ion battery that is claimed by the company to provide 18 hours of talk time and 275 hours of standby. Connectivity options on the dual SIM enabled Intex Aqua Twist include Wi-Fi, 3G, microUSB and Bluetooth. The Intex Aqua Twist houses a G-Sensor, a proximity sensor and a light sensor. Intex preloads the Aqua Twist with tons of apps such as Online Software Update, Matrabhasha, Intex Service, OLX, Amazon, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Opera Mini, Saavn and Hike Messenger. The company has also added the smart iData saver that controls the phone’s data consumption.
