Nokia Lumia 930 Gold Variant For The Rich And The Classy

After being unveiled at the Microsoft Build Conference 2014, Nokia Lumia 930 went on to become one of the most popular phones running Windows Phone 8.1 OS. In over an year, the phone has captured many markets across the world and now it seems that riding on the success, Microsoft has decided to launch a gold variant of the Lumia 930 phone made available across many countries including the Asia Pacific and African regions. The Lumia 930 gold version smartphone features gold trim with white and black back cover options. Powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor chip clocked at 2.2 GHz, the Lumia 930 packs inside it 2GB of RAM and 32 GB built-in storage. Unfortunately, there is no expandable microSD card slot, but users can enjoy some extra storage on OneDrive, offered by Microsoft.

Featuring a 5.0 inch screen with 1920*1080 pixel (Full HD) resolution AMOLED display having pixel density of 441 ppi, the Lumia 930 comes with a 20MP primary camera with Nokia’s PureView technology, 1/2.5” BSI sensor, aperture of f/2.4 and Dual-LED flash. On connectivity front, the phone is equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and USB 2.0 and supports FM radio. A 2,420 mAh battery is packed inside a 137*71*9.8 dimensioned Lumia 930.

Coming to the pricing, CNET shares that you can a SIM-free model from Nokia directly for £440 in the UK or in Australia and the US, whereas the unlocked variant from many online retailers for around AU$700 or $600. In India the Nokia Lumia 930 is priced at Rs. 29,990 and is available vid Flipkart.

    Yay..! It is a good enough phone for me ( not the gold one). I like the wireless charging feature of this phone. Super fast charging ( and draining too) when use Nokia Qi charger.
