Nokia’s Android Smartphone 'Normandy' Gets More Details Thanks To New Leaks

A new leaked image from @evleaks has managed to fuel the rumours associated with Nokia’s Normandy Android smartphone. Serial leaker @evleaks has put up images of the smartphone and its UI on its Twitter feed. The #-Link-Snipped-# accompanying the image states the following phrase “Android on Nokia ( -virtual buttons)”. Since @evleaks has not given out more details we shall try to follow the clues in the image and make some deductions. Nokia product images often have the habit of leaving many clues about the handset. Firstly, we can easily guess the name of the handset by looking at the phone’s time. The time on the smartphone says 10:45 which means that the phone's name shall end with 1045. We are not so sure that Nokia will christen the smartphone as Nokia Lumia 1045 since Lumia range consists of Windows Phone devices only. The UI & home screen looks quite similar to Asha OS so we are inclined to believe that the device will be named as Nokia Asha 1045. As the phone’s date has been set as March 25, we believe that it is going to be launched at the Mobile World Congress on the same date. We know that the smartphone has got Dual SIM functionality as we can spot two signal indicators. The phone will be targeted at Indian markets judging from the names in the contact lists.
