New Budget Smartphone InFocus M2 Launching Via Snapdeal On March 10

After the well scrutinized success of Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus in India, many new smartphone companies have become confident that Indian market is the appropriate place to establish themselves. The latest one to join that list is the American company InFocus. Snapdeal announced on their #-Link-Snipped-# that phone will be exclusively available on Snapdeal from March 10.If you aren’t the one who does not care which version of Android the phone has but are interested more the front camera (read: selfie) then this phone might be the one for you.

The phone by the US manufacturer has got a 4.2 inch 355 PPI display with a resolution of 1280x768 pixels. As mentioned above, the main highlight of the phone is its front camera. Both the rear and the front camera of the phone are of 8 MP (with aperture f/2.2) and both of them have LED flash. While many companies offer phones with a high megapixel-count front camera, but hardly any of them have an LED flash.


The Android 4.4 KitKat OS phone is dual sim and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. It has got 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 64 GB using the micro SD card. Under connectivity, it offers the usual options of 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is the 3G variant of the phone that is being launched in India. The phone has got a non-removable battery of 2010 mAh. There is no information about how long the phone can work with continuous usage or on standby mode.

InFocus M2 will be available in black and white colour variants. There are no details available about the pricing of the product as of now.
