Moov Is Your Personal Fitness Coach With AI - Now Up For PreOrder At $59.95

Even if there are so many fitness trackers popping up this season, most of them do the same thing - Count and monitor your movements or tell you how much you should workout. It is all about the quantity and nobody was talking about the quality of workout, until Moov - the fitness tracker with a difference arrived. Called 'Your Personal Artificial Intelligence Coach', Moov is a wearable wristwatch-like looking gadget, that offers support for 5 sports (running, cycling, swimming, boxing and bodyweight workouts such as pushups or planks). Once a user wears the Moov device on his hand, it offers real-time interactive coaching and features performance tracking.

The device is waterproof and operates using 3D Motion sensing to track the wearers moves and provides intelligent feedback. All the programs offered on Moov are designed by certified coaches and are based on biomechanics and are developed using scientific research. A great function present on the Moov device makes it possible for the wearer to prevent injuries. Depending on the type of exercise, users can wear Moov on the specific body part, whose performance you want to measure, during a particular sport. So, you can use two Moov devices, one for each wrist, during your Boxing sessions.

By pairing Moov device with the Moov app (for smartphones and tablets), users can analyze their body’s position, get instant feedback and track their progress over time. You can either read feedback on your screens or get audio real-time responses through your earphones. Currently, Moov is compatible with
iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, iPod Touch (5th gen.), iPad 3, 4, iPad Air and iPad Mini. Support for Android hasn't yet arrived, but the company has promised to bring the app to the platform by 2014 fall.

To understand how Moov is different from other, brilliant fitness trackers, we have to know that it uses 9-axis sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer) to track your motion and evaluate your form. The device pairs with your mobile device through Bluetooth Low Energy and the Moov app is able to provide both data analysis and voice OR visual interactive feedback based on complex algorithms that understand both quantity and the quality of your movement.
