Micromax Lists Bolt Q335 Smartphone On Official Website

After already launching 3 different Bolt phones in past 4 months, Micromax has now listed a 4th Micromax Bolt handset on their official website. The occasional release of high-end phones and incessant release of budget phones has made it clear that Micromax is concentrating on the lower-end of the market spectrum where most of the population lies. Let’s have a look at the specs of Micromax Bolt Q335.

The 4.5 inch FWVGA screen is of resolution 480x854 pixels. The dual sim phone (GSM+GSM) is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core SC7731 processor and has 512MB of RAM. With so little RAM, the apps that will work on the phone will be definitely limited in number. The internal memory of the phone for apps and mass storage is of 2.5 GB while the ROM is of 4GB. The memory is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card.

The phone has a 5 MP rear camera with flash while the front camera is of 2 MP. It can record and playback 1080p videos. Under connectivity, the phone offers GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phone has got gravity and proximity sensors and will come pre-installed with apps like Paytm, Snapdeal, Clean master, Hotstar and many more. Since the specs aren’t so great, the phone won’t require much battery to work for longer hours and hence the battery size of the phone is a mere 1650 mAh. According to the company, the battery can provide 280 hours of standby time and 5.5 hours of talktime on a single charge.

The availability and pricing of the device is yet to be announced by Micromax but considering the history of Bolt phones and the specs of this one, it is pretty clear that the phone will be a low-budget phone.
