Micromax Joins The Selfie Battle; Announces Canvas Selfie Smartphone With 13MP Dual Camera

For all the selfie enthusiasts, here’s a piece of good news for you. Keeping in mind the selfie craze these days, Micromax has designed Canvas Selfie, especially for the selfie lovers with a 13-megapixel front as well as rear camera. The company claims this device to be an ideal smartphone for selfie lovers capturing sharp images and provides great editing tools. There is no news on the price of this smartphone but is expected to be under Rs. 15,000. The phone will be available in India from second week of January in two colors Mystic Blue and Angelic White.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone flaunts a 4.7-inch HD IPS display screen and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor which offers users seamless multitasking at high speed. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and there is no word on the Lollipop update. On the storage front, it comes up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. Moreover, there is a common slot for microSD card and nano SIM which is not seen in many phones Apart from sporting a 13-MP front and rear camera, the device comes with Sony sensors and inbuilt beauty editing tools like eye enhancement, face slimming, teeth whitening, skin smoothening and many more. The dual-SIM phone packs a 2300 mAh battery with connectivity features like Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB.
