Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Smartphone Hopes To Appeal Selfie Aficionados

Micromax India is back on the launch spree and this time its a treat for selfie maniacs among us. Called the 'Canvas Selfie Lens' smartphone, here we are looking at an Android device with a 8 megapixel AF rear camera and 5 megapixel front FF camera, both featuring Largan Lens and Sony OV sensors. Micromax takes pride in introducing 0.4X wide angle lens to its phone's cameras, a feature that let's you click really wide selfies so you can accommodate your entire extended family in one picture. Add to it a ton of different modes such as face beauty or magic beauty along with a number of pre-settings that can be set at 3 levels or customised as required, and you get a perfect recipe for someone looking for a smartphone camera that can replace a normal point and shoot for any average user.

Among other features worth noting, there's 5 inch HD IPS display, a 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and 1GB DDR3 RAM. Running on Android Lollipop 5.0 OS, the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens brings a 2800 mAh battery to the table with a good 9 hours of talk time and over 370 hours of standby. The internal memory is 8GB and it's expandable upto 32GB.

Launched in 2 color options: White & Gray, the official price in India is Rs. 8299. The company offers a deal of free 500 MB 3G data usage for 2 months for all Vodafone users.
