Micromax Canvas Hue Features AMOLED HD Display And 3000mAh Battery At Rs. 10,999

The Indian mobile manufacturer, Micromax has unveiled yet another budget smartphone- Canvas Hue, further expanding its Canvas series of smartphones. The company claims the device to be a perfect blend of premium design, seamless efficiency and superior technology that supports the needs of the ever evolving consumers. And, with the Canvas Hue, the company seems to target the Indian consumers, who are looking for an extended battery life. The USP of the phone is its huge 3000mAh battery and company claims it to deliver battery back-up of up to a month with the handset's super power saving mode.


Speaking of the specifications, the phone flaunts a 5-inch AMOLED HD (1280×720 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a guaranteed update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, there is no exact release date for the update. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device sports an 8MP rear camera with autofocus, Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash and 2MP fixed-focus front camera. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, microUSB, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. The dual-SIM smartphone comes pre-loaded with apps like Hike, M! live, M! security, Swiftkey, Amazon, Clean Master, Opera, True Caller, Saavn and many more. The smartphone is available in two colors: White and Gold.
