Mercedes' New GLC SUV Comes With Regal Looks And Ultimate Performance

Yet another luxury automobile, the Mercedes GLC SE SUV, is set to be officially launched by Mercedes Benz on 2nd June in India, in a bid to prove their tagline " the best or nothing " in SUV models. Finally, the car is ready to compete with Audi Q5 and the BMW X3.

Like any other SUV, the car exterior features a muscular appearance with a heavy alloy made body. The GLC is an addition of "GL" with the Mercedes C class which indicates that the GLC has inherited some properties like the exquisite halogen coupled LED headlamps and front grille from it's parent. Some features that are powering it up as a SUV are definitely the front bumper with a collision prevention assistance, an "all Mercedes" supportive system. Plus, it has a powerful automatic taligate which gives the car a SUVish look.

As for small integration, the car was blended with rain-sensing wipers and a back camera to help take side turns. The tinted glass and horizontal rear side lamps add a classy flavour to it. However, the trump card of GLC is its all new 5 mode driving choice system, which helps the car to adjust with the road environment. Backed up with Air Body Control suspension, the car is ready to rule all terrains!

Jumping to the interior, it is a mixture of ample space and comfort. Equipped with the Apple Car Play 7-inch color display, the car gives high tech digital support with first-grade quality system. In terms of comfort, the car possess the ideals worthy of a winner. Stuffed with man-made leather seats with full electric adjustments, Thermatic; Mercedes' own climate control system and ambient lighting, it's everything you can long for.

As far as the engine is concerned, the Mercedes Benz GLC will come in both Petrol and Diesel variants. The petrol version is expected to have a GLC 200 or the GLC 250 Engine with 9-TRONIC transmission system and in case of Diesel, it ought to have a GLC 220d (output power: 125 kw) and the GLC 250d (output power: 150 kw) fused with 4MATIC gearbox. Ultimately the price range, according to the UK market is £34,950.0. If we convert it to Indian currency, it could be around 35-45 Lakh.
