Meet Belty: A Smart Belt That Loosens Itself If You Eat Too Much

Had a wonderful dinner date with your girlfriend and feeling embarrassed to loosen your belt buckle yourself? Well, forget loosening it yourself, it’s the era of smart wearables and this company has the perfect solution for you. Let’s welcome Belty - a smart belt that can loosen itself after you had a heavy meal. A French start-up Emiota has unveiled the innovative belt just a couple of days ahead of CES 2015. The smart belt continuously monitors your health throughout the day and adjusts itself depending on how much you've eaten and your exercises during the day.

BELTY

The smart belt comes with equipped sensors- accelerator and gyroscope to take care of your waistline. Belty keeps full details about user’s health, and nudges user if sitting for a long time. The belt knows about your physical activity and lets you know if you need to be more active. Belty does this after it connects with an app that monitors physical health and provides real-time suggestions based on user activity. The smart-belt is just about motors embedded in it that retracts and loosens according to waist size. Looking at the design, this smart wearable isn't much attractive but a bulky buckle and black leather around the waist.

The user can specify the belly limits for once and it’s Belty which will do everything. Belty is smart enough to make adjustments after you had full meal or you fast for a week. Additionally, user can specify further limits to which belt can winch itself in. The pricing and release date is not yet declared, but according to #-Link-Snipped-#, the device is “high-end” and is likely to have a luxury price. Time will reveal the response Belty gets from its customers and may end up to be one of the most loved devices at CES 2015.

    Yes, for sure! 😁😁
Considering number of Indian festivals and amount of food we eat, India would be a great market for Belty to start with! 😀😁
