MeCam: A Nano Copter Fitted With Camera That Follows You Everywhere!

What if there was a camera that could follow me and monitor my movements? This question must have surely popped into your head at least once while you are watching some of those Big Brother like TV shows. Well you can surely give that a try with MeCam. MeCam is a video recording mini copter from California based Always Innovating. The MeCam can be launched from the palm of your hand and it hovers around you taking voice commands. You can ask it to move up and down and ask it to follow you wherever you go. Along with 4 spinning rotors that keep you aloft there are 14 different sensors that help the mini copter to detect obstacles like walls and people.

The camera has a stabilization technology that makes sure that the video recording is stable. The camera is also capable of streaming the video feed to your iOS or Android device. In terms of its tech specs, it is has an ARM Cortex-A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.  The company does not intend to mass produce the MeCam but plans to offer it on a licensing basis. Although the product is still in the prototype stage the company hopes that the product will make it to the shelves by early 2014.
