Lumos Brings You Wearable Solar Cells, Now Carry Your Electricity!

One of the biggest problems of our generation is the quick discharge of our electronic devices! How about if you can charge your phone every-time you go out for a walk? Sounds interesting, isn't it? Well, Banglore based startup Lumos is working on some wearable solar cells, in form of tees and bags, that can help you to charge your electrical devices on the go.
The idea behind Lumos approach is to charge devices instantly whenever their battery goes off. The formula they are trying out is : solar cells + unique design = power-packed clothes and accessories. Lumos has added a solar cell to a carrying bag. The bag has carrying space and a charging outlet. It also has a small battery of 1800 mAh, that can store the solar energy. Moreover, you can also charge the bag with AC power supply before leaving. The bag is made of water-resistant material.Though the concept of wearable electronics isn't new, the vision here is to harness all the energy we are exposed to, to solve the day-to-day problems, by using these techniques into objects we carry almost everywhere – our clothes and accessories.
