London Olympics 2012! London Olympics are planned to take place between 27 July 2012 and 12 August 2012. Grand Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 27th July, In this thread we will be keeping a constant eye on Medal tally (Top 10 countries in the list, along with India's performance). 'Watching' this thread ! Super cool initiative, @crazyboy! The first spot is going to be reserved by the United States. It'd be interesting to see if India bags a spot in the top 10.
DON'T underestimate other countries. Last time China begged the first spot in terms of Gold medals and they crossed USA by a margin of 15 Gold Medals. I agree, that total number of medals won by USA was highest; but the margin was only 10. So I am expecting that this time China may give a hard time to USA; infect Great Britain would be all set to give tough time to anyone. For India, lets keep a watch if we can get *few* medals -CB

Hockey india loose their 1st match against team orange. They really did their best, someway they get lost.
Don't announce it still They won their last match but on the basis of points they lost and actually became out of tournament. But they have registered a complaint for the foul play in one of the other game. Chances are their results would go in their favor and they will proceed in next round. But no Official words YET. -CB
