LG Magna Smartphone With 5-inch HD Display & Android Lollipop In India At Rs. 16,500

The South Korean Corp. LG, has listed its new dual-SIM (both micro-SIM) Android smartphone called ‘LG Magna’ on its official website after launching LG Spirit, last month. The latest handset comes in 3G as well as in 4G LTE variant. However, the company has launched the 3G variant in India. Priced at Rs. 16500, LG Magna (LG-H502F) will be available for purchase in three colours- black, white and blue colour. Powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, LG Magna runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Both the smartphones were earlier showcased at MWC 2015 in February along with LG Leon and LG Joy handsets.

The 5 inch (12.7 cm) slightly curved HD display with in-cell touch renders resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has colour depth of 16 M colours. On memory front, the smartphone houses 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card). Coming to camera section, on the rear side there is 8 megapixels auto-focus snapper with CMOS sensor, LED flash support, digital zoom (4x) and geotagging feature. LG Magna sports 5 MPfront-facing camera for selfies. The users can take selfies in 3 seconds by using gesture shot feature. The 10.2 mm thick handset measures 139.7mm in length and 69.8 mm in width.

LG Magna smartphone packs 2540 mAH mAh battery. For connectivity, the smartphone includes GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, USB, GPRS, EDGE and A-GPS. The sensors such as Proximity and Accelerometer are provided by the company. Other features such as glance view, touch and shoot, front camera light for more clarity in the dark, Knock ON, Knock Code, rear key and Quick Circle Case are also provided.

The specifications such as display, RAM, ROM and rear camera are same in LG Magna and LG Spirit. The main difference between the two is that LG Magna comes with bigger screen size, 5 MP front camera and better battery life as LG Spirit has 4.7 inch (11.9 cm) display, 1 MP front cam and 2,100 mAh battery.
