LG Announces Pocket Photo 2 Printer; Will Arrive At CES 2014 Before Hitting Korean Shores
LG has unveiled the successor to the LG PD233 Pocket Photo Printer Price In India Is Rs. 14,990 printer in Korea. The LG Pocket Photo Printer 2 is slightly slimmer than its predecessor with a thickness of just 20mm. It now supports Windows 8 tablets along with Android, iOS and PCs. Like its predecessor it also relies on NFC and Bluetooth connectivity to print photos. Customers will be glad to know that LG has upped the image resolution from 313 dpi to 600 dpi (dots per inch). With a higher dpi figure we can expect the LG Pocket Photo 2 to print clearer and more detailed photographs. On a single charge the printer is expected to last for 30 prints.
Since it proved to be quite successful with the previous model, LG has continued to use Zink Photo paper to print the photos. The official app for smartphones helps users to add effects, filters, text messages and QR codes to the photo. The corresponding apps for iOS and Android devices can be downloaded from Google Play and App Store free of charge. The LG Pocket Photo 2 will be making an appearance at CES 2014 from 7th to 10th January before arriving at Korean shores in pink, white and yellow colour variants. LG has not mentioned the price of the tiny photo printer nor has it announced the global availability dates.

Satya Swaroop DashUpdate: At CES 2014 LG has disclosed the price of the LG Pocket Photo 2. The small printer is going to cost 149.00 USD (9,270 INR) and for a set of 30 ZINK photo papers buyers will have to shell out 15 USD (933 INR).
