Lenovo Z41, Lenovo Z51 And Ideapad 100 - Three New Windows Laptops Unveiled

Lenovo, a large and diversified Chinese company, has announced three laptops at its first global technology innovation event- Lenovo Tech World in Beijing. The company has unveiled multimedia-focused Lenovo Z41 and Lenovo Z51 laptops for ‘music and movie lovers’ and affordable Lenovo Ideapad 100 for customers ‘who need only the most essential features’. All the three laptops run Windows 8.1 operating system and will hit the market in June. With colour options: ebony black, chalk white and crimson red, Lenovo Z41 and Lenovo Z51 will come with a base price tag of $499. The sleek Lenovo Ideapad 100 will deliver reliable performance, starting at $249.

Powered by the latest up to 5th Generation Intel CoreTM i7 processor, Lenovo Z41 houses up to 1 TB of storage (HDD or SSHD). The 14-inch laptop comes with impressive FHD (1080p) display, optional AMD R7-M360 GPU for graphics and Dolby DS 1.0 Home Theater Surround Sound. According to Lenovo, owing to these remarkable features the laptop is ideal for streaming videos, downloading music and gaming.

It features advanced 802.11 a/c WiFi technology that provides speed up to 3 times as compared to regular laptop. The 24.4 mm thick Lenovo Z41 packs up to 16 GB RAM, 1 MP webcam and Bluetooth 4.0. It weighs 2.1 kg (4.63 pounds).


Lenovo Z51

The 15-inch Lenovo Z51 has almost same specs and features as that of Lenovo Z41 except the graphics and weight. Featuring AMD R9-M375 GPU, the laptop weighs 2.3 kg (5.07 pounds). One more feature that separates Lenovo Z51 from Lenovo Z41 is that it comes with an optional Intel RealSenseTM 3D camera 3D scanning, gaming or gesture control.

Lenovo Ideapad 100

The laptop (14-inch / 15-inch model) is powered by up to Intel BayTrail-M N3540 and houses up to 8 GB RAM and up to 500 GB HDD or up to 128 GB SSD storage. The connectivity includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Featuring a display that renders resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Ideapad 100 comes with just 0.3 MP single microphone webcam. Its battery lasts up to 4 hours.

Lenovo Ideapad 100 also comes with Kensington MiniSaver cable lock for security. The 14-inch and 15-inch variants are 20.2 mm and 22.6 mm thick and weigh 1.9 kg (4.19 pounds) and 2.3 kg (5.07 pounds) respectively.
