Lenovo ThinkPad 8 Launched At Rs. 39,999 - Specs At A Glance

After launching Yoga Tablet 2 Pro last week, the China-based company has now launched its high-end tablet, ThinkPad 8 at Rs. 39,999. This is Lenovo’s first Windows 8 tablet from the ThinkPad range and the company claims it to feature the best offerings one can get from Lenovo, Intel and Microsoft. With this tablet, the company aims to target the Indian professionals and the corporate world offering users a full PC experience with USB 3.0. The highlights of this tablet are full-HD screen, Quick Photo Capture and 4x faster graphics.

The high-end tablet flaunts an 8.3-inch full-HD IPS (1920x1200) display and runs on Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit operating system. It is equipped with a 2.4GHz Intel Atom processor Z3770 along with 2GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage. The device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, optional worldwide 3G/4G and HDMI-out port which allows easy connection to television or any other monitor. It also supports dual digital array microphones with noise cancellation and VoIP optimization. The tablet weighs around 430g and lasts up to 8 hours on a single battery charge. Further, it comes with per-loaded apps like QuickCast (Lenovo Tap to Share), Amazon Kindle, Evernote, Skitch touch, Skype, Microsoft Office, Norton Internet Security 2014 with 30 days of virus protection.
