Lenovo P70 With A Big Battery Life - Arrives In India For Rs. 15,999

A new smartphone called Lenovo P70 has arrived in India for a price of Rs. 15,999 and already making waves about its good battery life. Lenovo India has been quick to launch a series of smartphone ever since this year began. The first one to really make its mark was Lenovo A6000 Flipkart Flash Sale On Jan 28 - A Specs Overview as it was pitted against the likes of Xiaomi and Micromax that were clearly ruling the roost. Priced wisely at Rs. 6,999 just like its competitors, the smartphone was sold via a flash sale on Flipkart and gained good response. Then came the Lenovo Sisley S90 Launched in India At INR 19,990 that was set to cater an audience with a higher budget. With Lenovo P70, the company brings a decent set of specifications, but they might not feel enough considering the slightly bigger price tag.

Running on a 64-bit Octa-Core processor and a ARM MaliT760-MP2 graphics unit, the P70 smartphone brings Android 4.4 KitKat OS with it. A 2GB RAM and a 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB via microSD accompany this phone in a 8.9 mm thick body weighing 149g. The smartphone's 5 inch capacitive touchscreen has a 1280 x 720 pixel HD IPS display featuring 5-point multitouch and 16M colours. This Dual SIM smartphone has 4G, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi hotspot among connectivity options.

Coming to the most important feature on Lenovo P70 specs list - The phone's battery. The Li-Polymer 4000mAh embedded battery is said to offer up to 18 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 29 days on 3G standby. So, on 2G mode users can expect the phone's juice to last up to two days and for more than a month on standby.

Lastly, we find the Lenovo P70's camera specifications on the phone's highlights. There's a 13 megapixel residing on the phone's backpanel. This camera supports both LED flash and Auto focus. On the front, just above the display, there is a 5 megapixel fixed-focus snapper for capturing selfies and making 3G video calls. Playing games and accessing major apps should be possible with gravitation, proximity, light sensors all in place.

The Lenovo P70 will be officially release on April 14th, but interested people can pre-order it via the company's official #-Link-Snipped-# starting today.     I was just wondering that rather than using bigger battery when Android will come-up improve the system in a way that it will consumer lesser battery?

    With the same battery juice Apple is far better. What say?
