Lava Unveils 4G IvoryS Tablet With 7-inch Display At Rs. 8799

Lava recently launched its second in the series of Lava IvoryS range, IvoryS 4G tablet with dual-SIM support featuring a 7-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display priced at Rs.8799. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in two variants of Black and White. Powered by 1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and paired with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM it packs 16 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card up to 32 GB.

There is a provision of 3000 mAh battery in the device and on photography front it features a 5-megapixel primary rear autofocus camera with LED flash. It also sports a 3.2-megapixel Secondary front-facing camera on board with 1080p video recording.

The connectivity options include 2G/3G, Wifi, Hotspot, Bluetooth and USB support. The dual-SIM card slots support 4G connectivity on one slot, and 3G+2G on the second slot. This device launch comes after a gap of almost two years when Lava last launched IvoryS supporting 3G in 2014.

The company is expecting to target a wide and ever expanding section of over 300 million 3G and 4G subscribers by 2018 in the country. The new launch seems to reiterate this goal aptly. IvoryS 4G will be available for sale through both offline stores and online e-commerce retailers.
