Lava IRIS 406Q Features 4-inch Display, Quad Core & Android Kitkat Upgrade For Rs. 7,500

Lava has come up with a new low-budget smartphone for the Indian market called the Lava IRIS 406Q. The brand new entrant in the popular Lava series of smartphones is priced at a remarkably low price of Rs. 7,500. Featuring Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box, the 406Q smartphone promised guaranteed upgrade to KitKat 4.4 operating system. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor coupled with Adreno 302 Graphics Unit. Featuring a 4-inch IPS touchscreen, the phone's display is infused with the Twisted Nematic display technology and comes with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and 233 ppi. Coming with support for Dual Standby SIM (3G + 2G), the Lava IRIS 406Q features 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB.

On the rear end of the smartphone, you shall find a 5 megapixel camera with flash, while the secondary camera on the front is a 0.3 megapixel one. Packed with practical features such as noise reduction, fixed focus and HDR mode, with the IRIS 406Q camera you can capture detailed and sharp images even during motion blur or low lighting conditions. The high-end surround sound experience featured on the LAVA Iris 406q is coupled with Wide Bass and 3D sound.

The 1700 mAh battery with the in-built Battery Guru app ensures that you stay connected up to 24 hours. The exclusive Battery Guru app learns the user's usage patterns and helps conserve the phone's battery, making it last longer with each charge. The LAVA Iris 406q supports 3G, Wi-Fi (with hotspot), comes with Bluetooth and is GPS-enabled.

Coming to the pricing and availability, the phone is priced at Rs. 6,999 on online e-commerce website Online Shopping India | Buy Mobiles, Electronics, Appliances, Clothing and More Online at Flipkart.com, but the company has priced it at Rs. 7,499. The estimated release date of the phone is the third week of April, or next week. The smartphone comes with 1 year manufacturer warranty for Phone and 6 months warranty for in the box accessories Lava India Warranty and Free Transit Insurance.
