Lava EG932 Launched At Rs. 11,989 In India; Available On Snapdeal And Reliance

The Indian mobile manufacturer, Lava has launched another mid-range smartphone- Lava EG932. Last month, the company had unveiled Iris Fuel 60 and now it has launched a dual-SIM smartphone which supports GSM and CDMA capabilities. There are a few devices in the market that supports GSM and CDMA both. Although, the CDMA handsets are not in so much demand in India but CDMA technology is always considered to be superior to GSM.

As far as the specifications are considered, the phone flaunts a 5-inch (960x540) display with qHD touch screen and unfortunately runs on Android 4.3 JellyBean upgradable Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. The device sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5mm headset audio jack. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM/CDMA) smartphone comes in black color and weighs 160 grams. It packs 2,000mAh battery and is exclusively available on #-Link-Snipped-# and #-Link-Snipped-# at Rs. 11,989.

With the specs and price of the phone, I really doubt how far this mid-range phone will go. When the whole world is moving to Android Lollipop, it comes with Android Jellybean; there is no support for 4G LTE connectivity and not so great camera features.
