Boston based #-Link-Snipped-#is a leading maker of computer system utilities & security software has released "Protected Folders" - an easy to use software to protected your important data from theft, leak and unwanted access. The software works like a safety vault where you can simply drag and drop your files and folders and prevent intentional and unintentional intrusion. The software requires no extra computer skills. Once the files and folders are dropped into the 'Protected Folder', they are hidden from the outer world and cannot be modified without proper authentication.

Protected Folder comes with variety of options which can be combined to get various tires of security for protected files and folders. User can choose to hide the files/folders from 'Explorer' so that they are not visible in Windows or deny the 'read-access' to the users so that the files cannot be run, copied or modified. The user can also enable the "deny write access" so that the files cannot be moved, modified or deleted. If user wants maximum security, all the options can be enabled at once.
