Intex Unveils Aqua Classic 3G For Rs 4444 - Here's All You Need To Know

Intex is on a roll with yet another budget smartphone - this time the Intex Aqua Classic priced at Rs 4444! The phone comes with a dual GSM SIM card support and is 3G enabled. Aqua Classic smartphone supports Android 5.1 Lollipop. It sports a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor along with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage (ROM), and offers expandable storage support for upto 32 GB through a microSD card, but lacks the 4G support.

The Intex Aqua Classic also comes in Champagne variant, along with traditional Grey and White
The phone sports a 5 inch screen size with a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a pixel density of 294 ppi (pixels per inch), which isn't the best current resolution available but justified for a price tag of just 4444 rupees. The phone possesses a battery capacity of 2100 mAh, which promises 6 hours of talk time, while a decent 8-9 days standby time.

The phone may not be the best option for the photographers and selfie maniacs. The phone features a 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The phone also features a LED flash to assist the rear camera. Also, the phone is equipped with some important pre-installed apps to make it productive right from unboxing it. Apps like Hike, Saavn, Opera mini, FreeCharge and Mobikwik have been added as VAS apps. The phone also has additional features like Smart Wake, Active shot and Smart View. The smartphone supports all major playback formats and bears a 3.5 mm jack.

The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and supports upto two finger touch. It is claimed to have 16.7 million vivid colors. Although the phone has a 8 GB ROM or storage, users can only access 4 GB out of it, which is underwhelming. The biggest downside of this phone, I believe, is that although it offers major connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, the phone lacks the support for latest LTE/4G technology, which is disappointing, as more and more operators push towards this high speed connectivity, which opens lots of possibilities with millions of apps available on the Play Store.
