Intex FitRist Fitness Smart Band Launched At Rs. 999

The 1996 established company, Intex Technologies Ltd. has recently launched a low budget fitness smart wear named FitRist. To compete with the rivals like Misfit Ray and Swipe’s Fband, Intex incorporated a time piece inside an activity tracker. Sporting a light weight blended with exotic style, the fitness band also features a step calculator, calorie counter and a sleep monitoring option.

This small package of electronic components boasts of a 0.86-inch OLED screen with a 96*32-pixel resolution. It gives a decent battery life of up to 12 days. Priced at Rs 999, the FitRist guarantees IP65 protection. Bluetooth’s low energy version 4.0 wirelessly transmits the smartphone’s notifications to the FitRist. This device even supports Android 4.3 and iOS 7 and has a 3-axis accelerometer inside. The FitRist is powered by a TI-CC2541 processor chipset and operates best at 20 – 70 degree Celsius.

FitRist, which is the successor to the high end smart watch iRist offers control music and remote shutter options in order to enable a user friendly experience. As of now, it comes in White and Dark Blue variants and is exclusively available on Snapdeal.
