Intex Aqua Y2 Remote Launched At INR 4,390 - Supports Universal Remote Feature
After launching its first Android 5.0 Lollipop based smartphone, the Indian mobile manufacturer, Intex has come up with a new smartphone named - 'Intex Aqua Y2 Remote'. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,390 and the company is promoting the handset to be a universal as it can be used to control AC, Set Top Boxes, TV, DVD Players etc. With the help of an in-built custom application - ZaZa Remote, users can select the list of product to be connected with the smartphone. The feature saves the model number for the products with which this function is operational. It allows the user to configure the phone as a remote with the synced model.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the phone flaunts a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It packs a 1.2GHz dual-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and FM radio. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone packs a 1500mAh battery and weighs 110 grams. It comes in three colours - grey, black and white and is available across major retail and e-commerce sites in India.
