iBall Slide 3G 7334Q-10 Tablet Launched; Quad-Core Processor & Android Jelly Bean For Rs. 11,499

iBall has launched the Slide 3G 7334Q-10 Android tablet in the Indian markets today. The Slide 3G, as you might have guessed from the name supports WCDMA connectivity. The tablet is also capable of handling voice calls and offers Dual-SIM standby. The iBall Slide 3G 7334Q-10 sports a 7-inch (17.8 cm) IPS panel display which has got an HD (1024 x 600 pixels) resolution. Underneath we find a 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM which seem quite capable of handling Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Unlike other budget tablets it gives you a generous internal storage space of 8GB out of which approximately 2GB is consumed by the operating system and pre-installed apps. If you still find yourself running short of storage space you can pop in a microSD card of up to 32GB.

The tablet falls short in its photographic abilities since it features a below average 2 MP rear and a VGA front camera. Most customers won’t find the camera resolution as a deal breaker since tablets are never the first preference as a photography device. The iBall Slide 3G 7334Q-10 has got Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity and features A-GPS navigation sensor. In terms of multimedia the company claims that the iBall - generation i can handle most popular media formats. It is quite amusing to find a FM radio on this tablet. The iBall - generation i mentions that the tablet is powered by a 3000mAh Lithium-ion battery but it does not provide any details regarding battery backup time. iBall has set the MRP of the device at Rs. 11,499 but the tablet is retailing at #-Link-Snipped-# for prices as low as Rs.9,841.

So it’s another day and another tablet has made its way to the Indian market. Will it be able to make some waves? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
