Huawei Enjoy 5 4G Smartphone To Go On Sale In China From Oct 16
The Chinese market is soon to have a new Android smartphone option in the market with 'Huawei Enjoy 5' making its way to the shops on October 16th. The Enjoy 5 is priced at 999 Yuan which translates to ~ Rs. 10,000 (INR) or USD 141. The company hasn't yet commented on the phone's global release as of now. As has been the trend in the past, chances are that the Huawei Enjoy 5 may be called differently in India and other countries. That said, the tech town was speculating a launch of a new Enjoy series phone from the company for quite some time and it was said that the phone may be called 'Play 5X'. Putting all rumours to rest, Huawei has released the Enjoy 5 smartphone via Chinese ecommerce portal vmall. Let's take a look at the phone's specifications.
Featuring a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735 Quad Core 64-bit Processor with Mali-T720 graphics unit, the Huawei Enjoy 5 packs 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Thanks to support for microSD card, the phone's memory can be extended up to 128 GB.
Enjoy 5 is a Dual SIM phone that runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box layered with Emotion UI version 3.1. The phone's front comes with a 5 inch HD IPS Display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution touch screen interface.
A gigantic 4000 mAh battery acts as the phone's power house and is said to give it a battery life of up to 2 days on 'heavy use'. Featuring a new power saving technology, the Huawei Enjoy 5 can extend the power upto 24 hours with just 10% battery.
On the phone's rear end, you will find a 13 megapixel camera with OmniVision BSI sensor and 28 mm wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. The snapper supports LED flash (and there's no mention of Digital Zoom). On the phone's front is a 5 megapixel snapper best suited for capturing selfies and making video calls back home.
Weighing about 160 g, the Huawei Enjoy 5's connectivity specs include support for Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ networks.
