Huawei Ascend P1 Price In India Is Rs. 12,990 - Specs, Features & Launch Date Listed

Launched almost a year back in India, the Huawei Ascend P1 was the first 4G LTE capable phone for the country. Though the 4G LTE network was not available all over India and Airtel was the first company to launch 4G in Kolkata followed by Bangalore, Huawei and Airtel made the bold attempt to launch the Ascend P1 in the Indian market. But as a matter of fact, it was still not widely available or talked about. Now, it is official. Huawei has began taking preorders for the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich running smartphone. Bearing the price in India tag of Rs. 12,990, the Huawei Ascend 1 has been listed on online retailer Flipkart's website, with the estimated release date of 3rd week of August.

Powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor along with 1 GB of RAM, Huawei's Ascend P1 sports a medium 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD screen with a display of 540x960 pixels resolution. Well protected with Gorilla Glass 2, on the rear end of the smartphone is a 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, autofocus and features like Geo-tagging, HDR, face and smile detection. It can capture videos at 1080 pixel @30fps and make video calls using a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. There's 4 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD Card slot. Deriving its power from a 1670mAh Li-on battery, the Huawei Ascend P1 specs are in the mid-range category just like its price.

The smartphone is equipped with the Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors and users will have access to FM radio and MP3 player. That's all about the features of Huawei Ascend P1. Seriously, now huawei wants in on the mobile racks? Doesnt it know that the market is already captured in India by others with better configurations and prices. Maybe it should focus more on developing Modems and data cards. It suits better 😛
