HTC M8 Ace Leaked In A Blurry Image - Speculated Specs

A few weeks ago there was news about HTC launching couple of variants of the HTC One M8 and now the prolific leakster @evleaks has released a blurry image which it claims is a variant of recently launched One (M8) named as M8 Ace. However, the image does not provide any other significant information about the phone apart from its name. The Taiwanese mobile maker is banking on the flagship phone to emerge as a winner in the global handset market.

What we can make out from the blurry image is that the device has a design similar to the One (M8), looks red in color and while the screen of the M8 Ace is blurred out, the device appears to be displaying the green BlinkFeed screen found in HTC’s Sense 6 user interface. Also, the device looks bigger than its flagship model, has a front camera, a possible notification light or proximity sensor to the right and front-facing speakers in a mesh-style grille. Ever since the launch of the One, evleaks had claimed that the company was planning to launch two new variants of the flagship model and will be called M8 Ace and M8 mini. The M8 mini is said to feature 4.5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This phone is expected to come as early as May.

Beyond this nothing much can be revealed just by looking at the leaked image. What do you think about this mini variant from HTC? Share with us in comments.

Just like very other company, HTC too have applied the same business plan of bringing a watered down version of the flagship smartphone. The specs seems above average but the problem with HTC is that its devices are very often overpriced as compared to its competitors. To make sure that this works in the market they have to price this competitively. Finally I want to say that I am a little disappointed with @evleaks, they have provided excellent leaks in the past but this leak was not up to the mark.
