HTC Desire 210 And Desire 816 Android Smartphones Make Official Entry In India

HTC Corporation in India is keeping its plate full by offering Android smartphones that cater to every consumer's pocket size. Following the news of HTC One M8 being priced in in India for Rs. 49,900 and its arrival date set to 7th of May, the HTC officials have launched its two new smartphones for Indian markets, namely - HTC Desire 210 and HTC Desire 816 at a press event in Delhi. It was only last month that, the company launched its HTC Desire 310 Features 1.3 GHz Quad Core, Dual SIM, Jelly Bean & 512MB RAM smartphone for Indian customers and now we have a lot more options. Let us take a look at the features and specs for both new phones.

Priced at Rs. 8,700 - the HTC Desire 210 is the newest budget smartphone from the company. Bragging about its looks, the phone sports a tagline - "First impression matters". Powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor, the Desire 210 features Dual-SIM support and a 4-inch WVGA display. On the phone's rear end, there's a 5 megapixel camera, whereas on the front there's 0.3 megapixel snapper. Packed inside the phone is 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1300 mAh battery. Running on Android 4.2.2 OS, the HTC Desire 210 include a stripped down version of Sense UI.

Coming to the next one - The HTC Desire 816. This one features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 1.6 GHz, quad-core processor and a 5.5-inch HD display. Weighing just 165 g, the Desire 816 comes with Android with HTC Sense and 1.5 GB RAM + 8 GB internal storage along with a microSD memory card support that offers up to 128 GB additional storage. Under the specifications list, connectivity category you'll find - 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, NFC (optional), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port.

The main camera is a 13MP and features BSI sensor, f/2.2 and 28mm lens, while the front camera is a 5MP one with BSI sensor. Both cameras support 1080p video recording. Packed inside the smartphone is a 2600 mAh Li-Polymer battery that offers a talk time up to 21 hours and 3G standby time up to 737 hours. The HTC Desire 816 is priced in India at Rs. 23,990 and is available in four color options.
