How to seek career advice - the right way

We've been receiving a lot of questions from engineering students, professionals and entrepreneurs through our '#-Link-Snipped-#' app. What we see is that most of the questions are very 'open' and general; which makes them difficult to answer. For example, a recent query looks like this:

Q: How to get into MNCs
Description: ways to get into mnc. send me list of opportunities.
No other information is provided, despite asking for it clearly through the submission form. The career help app is meant to guide you in the right direction. However, asking us to do all the work on your behalf (in this case, searching for jobs online) won't help.

So, how do you ask the question right way?

1. Tell us about your background information.
2. Tell us about your existing situation and describe the issue you are facing.
3. Ask a specific question you'd like us to answer.

If you provide all this information, you will equip us to give you the best possible answer we can. Otherwise, we will have to keep asking the counter questions which were already asked in the query submission form.

I hope this helps. This applies to questions asked in this section as well.
