Gionee S6 Smartphone Reaches India; Priced at Rs 19,999

Shenzhen based Chinese mobile company Gionee had launched the Gionee S6 phone in China back in November 2015. It is one of those high-end phones which have great specs but they come at a high price. If you are looking for such a smartphone then the S6 is definitely a great choice. The phone was already listed on its India website few days ago, but the ‘Buy Now’ link would say ‘Coming Soon’. But now, the phone is officially in the market and available on Flipkart.

The phone features a 5.5 inch wide HD screen and has a strong metal body with cumbered surface providing a firm grip to the users holding the phone. It has a whopping 3GB of RAM and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor. It offers the inbuilt storage memory of 32 GB out of which users can use about 23 GB However, the capacity is expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card.

The dual-sim smartphone has support for a micro sim and a nano sim. One of the sim slots can also act as microSD card slot thus increasing the storage capacity. The rear camera of Gionee S6 has autofocus and a 13 MP of resolution and comes with LED flash, while the front camera has a 5 MP resolution. The camera provides full HD recording and features modes such as night mode, panorama mode, burst mode, magic focus, HDR, GIF and more.

Under connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE (including VoLTE) along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. The phone also provides the reversible USB Type C connectivity which allows faster charging and data transfer. The phone is priced at Rs 19,999 in India and is available already on#-Link-Snipped-# in silver, gold and rose gold colour variants.
