MAY I KNOW THE FUNCTIONS OF USING CLEATS IN MECHANICAL STRUCTURAL FABRICATION WORK.

The ObserverAs far as i know..Shear cleats are commonly found in the airplane wing. they are basically 2 plates perpendicular to each other.. and one end connects the stringer while the other to the rib of the wing. They help in transferring only shear loads between the parts.
