How to calculate the equivalent diameter of square and triangle?

    D=4*(Area of cross section)/(Wetted perimeter)
    Square - D = 4* a^2/4*a = a itself
    Triangle - D = 4*(a*h/2)/(a+b+c) =2ah/(a+b+c)

    This formula is using to calculate the Hydraulic diameter, and D_h is not equal D_equ.
