Is it just me or the home screen of the phone resembles the lock screen of Nokia Lumia phones with Windows Phone.
The only advantage of this phone is that you get free talktime and nothing else. If you want to be satisfied with a feature phone buy one that offers a good app ecosystem and is sturdy. The phone seems like a good deal for smartphone users who one to keep one as backup.

I second you on the opinion.

This phone is actually a freebie from BSNL.
Phone itself is costing 1099 INR and with a free talk time of 1200 minutes, Awesome !!

Phone specifications are not bad either. It has 1.3 MP camera, fair enough size of colored screen, GPRS (2G and 3G) and 1800 mAh battery. A perfect phone for the secondary / back-up options.

    A back-up phone seems like a good idea. 👍
The phone is getting a lot of views and readers. Way to go, BSNL.

A phone in Java OS seems like BSNL is still in the early days of 21st century

Well good start and about the freebies are you sure that it is for all mobile networks or between local network alone

Cos No one is going to have to many BSNL network users to talk with often
