With the new 6-inch Android powered Zenfone 2 Laser, we have some of Asus's most iconic features rolled into one device. Let's take a look at them.

First and foremost is the design - The engineers working on Zenfone 2 Laser moved the usual volume and shutter buttons from the sides to the rear. This along with new NCVM moulding techniques helped them achieved a mere 3.9 mm thickness at the phone's edges with a smart metallic look while focusing on the ergonomics to provide a light-weight body and firm grip.

The phone's ergonomic arc design compliments the intuitive buttons placed on the rear and make way for ease of clicking selfies or controlling music playback volume. Holding the phone with its rear side up will show you the company's trademark concentric circle design. There are 3 vivid colour variants - Red, Grey and Gold to choose from.

Next up is the phone's performance. The ZenFone 2 Laser packs inside it a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S616 processor which offers LTE download speeds of up to 150 Mbit per second and 60 ms touch response time. The presence of dual-driver audio chamber delivers powerful loud sound quality while you play videos or run through your songs playlist.

The 6 inch touch screen features a 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD resolution IPS display with 178-degree viewing angles. The phone is powered by ASUS TruVivid technology which makes way for an innovative two-layer design which brings an Optical Clear Adhesive between the touch sensor and the IPS Panel, and this layered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch-free display.

The S616 CPU is coupled with a 550 MHz Adreno 405 graphics processor. There's inbuilt 3 GB DDR3 RAM and a 16 GB & 32 GB internal memory variant along side 5 GB free ASUS web storage. The memory can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.

Running on top of Android Lollipop OS out of the box, the ZenFone 2 Laser supports Dual SIM Dual Standby with both cards featuring 2G, 3G and 4G compatibility and its connectivity options include USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1 and WLAN.

A 3000 mAh Li-Polymer battery acts as the phone's power house. The usual sensors aka Accelerator, G-Sensor, Hall Sensor, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Proximity etc. are all in built.

Coming to the last, yet most important feature - the phone's camera: The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser comes with a 13 megapixel camera on the rear with 5P Largan Lenses and f/2.0 aperture. It has Laser Auto-Focus, a Toshiba Sensor, Dual LED real tone flash and a blue glass filter. Whereas, the front is adorned with a 5 megapixel snapper that features ƒ/ 2.0 Aperture and 85° wide angle.
