ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) Android Tablet Embraces ZenUI In A Stylish Package

At its IFA appearance in Berlin, ASUS took the covers off the latest iteration of its premium Android tablet, the MeMO Pad 7. Unlike the low-end Fonepad 7 range, the MeMO Pad packs in a punch in terms of style and functionality. The body of the MeMo Pad 7 is based on clutch-bag design which not only makes it good-looking but it also fits in the hands better its sharp edges. The 7-inch IPS panel display has a Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution and comes with an anti-fingerprint coating. The MeMO Pad 7 runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) on a 64bit Intel Atom quad-core Z3560 processor which has a clock speed of 1.83GHz. While KitKat works well on 512MB of RAM ASUS has provided the MeMO Pad 7 with a 2GB RAM for better multitasking. Graphic intensive games have to rely on the IMG PowerVR Series 6 - G6430 GPU.

Since it’s a high end tablet, you can find two cameras on the MeMO Pad 7. The rear 5MP sensor sans flash lets you record Full HD videos. The front 2MP sensor suffices for your selfies and 720p video chatting. The dual speakers on the tablet have been enhanced ASUS’ Sonic Master technology and it can even deliver high quality Bluetooth audio with aptX audio codec support. The tablet supports LTE, Wi-Fi with Miracast, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity along with GPS and GLONASS navigation sensors. The 15Wh Li-Polymer battery in the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 is claimed to last up to 11 hours.

The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 will be sold in 16 and 32GB internal memory variants both allowing expandable storage with microSD cards of up to 32GB. You can buy it in Rose Champagne, Gentle Black and Burgundy Red colour variants starting from 199 Euros (15,809 INR) from this fall.
