The system which will be developed for this purpose will not only show the text on screen to help you sing but will also provide you with a hoard of additional features. This will be a bit different to the traditional karaoke machines as no feedback is provided for a good/bad singing.  The Apple to teach the world to sing which analyzes the voice quality of user and compares it with a standard as to how it is supposed to sound. The more it zeroes in on the original song, the more positive response is generated by the device. So in case if you are going off key, the gadget will try to correct you.

...And yes, there are some rewards and negative points too. For more perfectness achieved in your voice, Apple's Karaoke system will give off a concert hall like music which is pleasing to listen. Negative points mean it exaggerates your mistakes so that you notice it easily. Moreover, your listeners will not hear your exaggerated mistakes. The device covers it up with a ‘fuzz’ sound so that it is only you who realize your mistakes; provided you give appropriate setting to the speakers. So, whether negative or positive, the patent application filed by Apple will make a wonderful device.

However, a device does not have an intelligence of its own. The very fact which compares your voice with correct pitch will make some music lovers sad because music and songs varies according to human ingenuity. Although you cannot expect to become maestros, you can of course improve your voice quality to a greater extent.

It is still not known as to how the gadget/device would look like, nor it is known when it will be available on internet. However initially you can expect to learn tracks of The beach boys, Tina Turner and Blondie to name a few.
