AOC Launches E40, M601 Smartphones And D70V50G Tablet In India
Taiwan-based multinational electronics company, AOC which is widely known for developing IPS and TFT monitors and LCD TVs has entered the Indian market by introducing three sub-Rs 10,000 3G-enabled android devices, two smartphones (E40 and M601) and one tablet (D70V50G). For expressing your emotions in your mother tongue, all the three gadgets are provided with 21 pre-loaded regional languages. The company’s flagship tablet also supports voice-calling feature. Now, let’s have a detailed look at the devices one by one.
E40 Smartphone
E40 is an entry-level dual SIM (both regular) smartphone with WVGA capacitive display that renders screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The 4 inch smartphone is powered by 1.2 Ghz MTK6572 dual core processor and ARM Mali-400 GPU. It offers 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. And, the external memory can be expanded up to 32 GB. E40 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and will be available in the market in Black and White colurs.
Coming to the camera, E40 has 2MP rear camera with LED flash support and 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It packs 1600 mAh Li-ion battery that provides 3G talk time of about 13 hours and 3G standby time up to 100 hours. Connectivity includes GSM, EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, UMTS, HSPA+, Wi-Fi b/g/n 2.4 Ghz and Bluetooth.

M601 Smartphone
The 6 inch smartphone, M601 works on 1.3 Ghz MTK8312 dual core processor and Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Its capacitive IPS screen has resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Speaking about the memory, M601 comes with 512MB RAM that is quite less at the price the smartphone is being offered and 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Under the hood, the 2,100 mAh Li-Polymer battery offers talk time up to 12 hours. It sports auto-focus 5 MP primary camera and 0.3 MP secondary camera. Connectivity options such as GSM, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Miracast and FM radio are provided along with Proximity, Light and G sensors.

D70V50G Tablet
Powered by 1.3 Ghz dual core processor, the 7 inch dual SIM D70V50G tablet, as mentioned earlier, supports voice-calling feature. It has WSVGA capacitive multi-touch display and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The tablet’s storage includes 1GB DDR3 RAM and internal memory of 4GB (expandable up to 32GB).
D70V50G offers 2 MP rear camera with smile shot feature and 0.3 MP front camera. The 3,000 mAh battery of the device provides talk time up to 17 hours. On connectivity front, D70V50G includes 2G, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and Miracast. In addition to the list, sensors like Proximity and G sensors are also provided.
