    We engineers have a unique vocabulary and it's easy for outsiders to get confused or misunderstand what we mean.

    HardDrive: Not a long and hectic drive by car.
    Computer Chips: Not a snack that is eaten by the computers.
    Bits & Bytes: Not bits of food that you can bite!

    and something from the electricals:

    stepper motor: is not a motor that walks
    carbon brushes : arent the brushes used for painting, cleaning etc etc
    transformer : has no connection with the movie

    Sorry for being repulsive here AKD but I have never gotten along with any CS engineers till date there has been seriously many arguments between ECE and CS troops of our college
