Yup man, and from what I have been hearing, its really going to be awesome, specially the new unity!
Raring is awesome since alpha 1,even in unstable version 13.04 was stable :P
Nice, been hearing too many good things about it. They are introducing window snapping, new tweaked icons, but too busy to try. Exams and all!
There are just too many "good" upgrades!
BTW,Goodluck for exams :)
Thanks, btw I got one more good news. Got selected for one year internship at IBM and guess what the department is - LTC (Linux Technology Center). Gonna join on 14th may...:)
Holy Mother Fucker.
Tell me your review of IBM after ur internship gets over.I am keen to know whether IBM backs Opensource entirely or not.
Thanks. Dude, the way they took the interview, I can tell these guys are pretty hard core. 2 telephonic interviews of 1.5 hours each and they took out the last bit of knowledge I had about Linux. I did a little research and LTC looks like a place I would want to be. Finally a job worth doing!
So, what kinda work you have to do in LTC ?
Well, they have asked me to get familiar with Diagnostic tools, ncurses, xml, git etc. I guess things will become more clear after joining.
w00t that's great.
BTW I just heard the word "ncurses". ;)
Seriously? I actually worked on it in B.tech. Anyways, its time to shut down, got to wake up early to be on time for exam! Good night....:)
No excuse but, learning core EC subjects & learning core CSE subjects, all together is somewhat tough.
For EC : I have faculties to solve my queries.
For CSE : It's D-I-Y shit.
Haha.....yeah, it is tough. I have always wondered what are you doing in their boat, you belong to our army, man!
I am an ECE by choice.
And,here ECE doesn't mean Electronics & Communication Engineer, but it means Electronics & Computer Engineer ;)
I guess, when you love two things equally. It's hard to choose one out of 'em.
Wow....thats great! Well, why stay with one when you can have fun with two...;)
