Ooyala provides the analytical data's a bit more detailed including the age, gender and educational qualification of the viewers in addition to the pretty old data's like views by geography, domain and device. They call it as the Custom Analytics and provides its customers an easy-to-use user interface. Also Ooyala made it easy to integrate their customers very own CMS or data available from the social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and FourSquare to get the Custom Analytics well crafted. Thus, through this Custom Analytics their customers can target some specific age groups or gender to increase their video views which could lead them to an increased revenue.

Ooyala want their clients to let the Facebook users to authenticate them via Facebook Connect, to collect the data's like age, gender and educational qualifications. "What's now?". Yeah, I understand that you got some questions about the privacy concerns of the Facebook users. To stop raising the privacy issues, Ooyala also mentioned that they were collecting the individuals data based on tags, instead of their associated information's.
