Enigma why can't you post your questions through threads so that many people can see it and answer it instead of one.You can get multiple and different answers as well which is a good thing to learn new things..
Ya it can but the actual reading is whatever the component the information we give is converted into electrical siganal and for example When the LED is turned ON then we take it as 1 and if it OFFs then we note is 0.The information we give to it will be converted into electrical signals which it can understand better and encoding,decoding process will take place between the input and the output process..
because it can only manages with 2 ..i.e.,1 or 0.. EG:A husband and wife=2 With the Power of the children..
