      CE was run as a hobby website for long time. When I took running CE as my full time job; we started looking for advertisers so that we can pay the bills.

      We formed a proprietorship firm and found out that its better to run CE as a private ltd. company so that we can bring in more professionalism. Moreover it also gets us more legal standing in approaching other companies. We've hiring plans in next year so forming a company made all sense.

      The company will own CE Forum & Trademarks. All the future deals will be done not by me as an Individual but CrazyEngineers Technologies as a company.

      We are looking at bigger sponsors so that we can engage in our own marketing and fund few innovative projects which will be launched as products/services in the market.

      The idea is not to remain an online forum; but to build an engineering company. Forum will continue to exist all the time, of course. Its just that we are now actively getting involved in making it bigger and useful for everyone.

      E-S: Good question. A user is marked 'online' with a green light only when he/she is fully registered. Typically the system catches profiles during registration and they are shown as 'online' in the What's going on section. However, they are currently in 'registration' phase.

      Also, many times users are banned right away [we can easily catch spammers & genuine registrations]. In that case too, the member will be marked as not online.
