Google Street View Brings Panoramic Imagery Of The Antartic

Google had launched the Street View imagery for the Antartic two years back and now it is back with an additional feature to see panoramic imagery of some of the historic locations of our south pole. This 360 degree imagery has bee a result of combined efforts of Google's team with Polar Geospatial Center at the University of Minnesota and the New Zealand Antarctic Heritage Trust. Interested explorers will now be able to see South Pole Telescope, Shackleton's hut, Scott’s hut, Cape Royds Adélie Penguin Rookery and the Ceremonial South Pole from the comfort of their homes.
