Thats a good idea, hope Biggie makes the change. I still have to learn how to use these features for their full capabilities.

I'm aware of the problem that Mr. Beychok mentioned. For an engineering forum, ability to have subscripts & superscripts. However there is a big problem with HTML or VBScript enabling - It makes the site vulnerable to attacks.
I've not yet toyed with the BB code. Will try it out and update soon. -The Big K-

You might want to look at these forums: (1) Eng-Tips Forums at www.eng-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=798, scroll to bottom of page and click on "Process TGML" and see their extensive list of tags. (2) Chemical-Engineering-Forum at chemical-engineering-forum.com/index.php?action=post;board=1.0 and see their [sup] and [sub] tags. (3) CR4 Forum at cr4.globalspec.com/edit/newthread?f=9 and see their X2 and X˛ tags. |

Forgot to explain how to add superscripts & subscripts to your text.
For subscripts, use the "sub" tag in square brackets, without the quotes. For superscripts, user the "sup" tag in square brackets, without the quotes. -The Big K-

Right now, we cannot use mathematical symbols in posts. But we'll see if we can develop such utility.
For subscripts, use following tags around the text- "sub" text "/sub" ( Replace the quotes with square brackets [ ] ) For superscripts, use following tags around the text- "sup" text "/sup" ( Replace the quotes with square brackets [ ] ) So, to write H2SO4 , I will type - H "sub"2"/sub" SO "sub"4"/sub" ( Of course, replace the quotes with square brackets [ ] ) -The Big K-
