Ive noticed that the other Ultimate topics thread was titled for CS and IT, so I made one for Telecommunications There is some overlapping between ECE majors, but hopefully this list of project and seminar topics would be beneficial for Telecommunication or Communication majors.

I suggest you research on Cognitive radios. They will have a very strong impact in the future

This sem m giving a seminar on Smart Dust.
How bout that?

Yep, that would be an interesting one! But it may be very technical.. since it involves MEMS (amongst others), you'll need to discuss the micro fabrication process, physical properties of materials at the micro scale, etc. I suppose for your seminar, you can try focusing more on the RF aspects; things like varicaps, etc.

For your info, I plan to do my final year project based on MEMS! But lots of research still needs to be done
