should there be education qualification for politicians?

As you know that corruption is the best definition of politics.This corruption is only due to lack of education.There should be education criteria for politicians.
Atleast the person having graduation degree can only jump in the field of politics.

there is no relation between education and corruption. and educated politicians are welcome in the meanwhile , if the uneducated has the sufficient proficiency means, he/she can be allowed..My point is that there should not any such conditions for politics.

Perfect . I believe there should not be any criteria on education. In fact, the people who didn't attend the school have contributed a lot to making the world a better place.

May be its not the matter of corruption...yet I believe there should be educational qualification! Politicians have a big role in successfully taking the world, atleast country ahead. They become the ministers and take important decisions regarding many issues. If he/she is specialised in his/her field then the decisions will come out to be the best! That would actually be really helpful for people.

There may be cases like an electricity minister dont know how electricity is produced!(inspired from a film ) He just know its produced from water. In the film he was dumbed when asked - then why dont we get shock when touching water?

To be Corrupted or not.. That's totally depend on the Mentality of the person. no education will effect on that.

I guess there is nothing wrong with the mentality of the person. Wrong is the day by day increasing size of politics world. You see everyone jumping into that world and reason is just money and fame and say "We are working for our country" I don't understand what hell work they do. Everyone when reaches 40-50+ joins politics and simply sits and eat all the money collected by poor public[ for which actually government is made] in the form of taxes.

I guess the size should be kept limited along with quality people rather than allowing everyone to jump into that world. Quality can do miracles. No relation to education and all.

I remember one newspaper had started a movement against the politicians who have criminal records.. movement name was "No Criminals"... under this movement they are asking to do not vote for the member who have criminal records..

how this movement is reliable?
what if all candidate have criminal records?

If all candidates have a criminal record, and given it can be proved too, then we can happily boycott the election. Nothing is wrong in that.

After all, I think we do have the right to demand that the candidates are at least not criminals.
